Auto-selection technology
Knowing the right tool setting isn’t always easy, which is why BLACK+DECKER developed Auto Select technology. Simply select either String Trimming or Edge Mode and the motor speed will automatically adjust to give you maximum control and precision.
Power and speed
Powered by E-Drive technology, the BLACK+DECKER 550W Corded Strimmer features a high-torque gear system that, combined with the powerful 550W motor, tackles the toughest overgrown areas quickly and without clogging. What’s more, with a fast cutting speed of 7,500 rpm and a cutting area of 38cm, the Strimmer delivers powerful and fast cutting so you can get the job done quickly and easily.
Comfort and control
The Strimmer is ergonomically designed to be comfortable and easy to use. The telescopic shaft allows the Strimmer to be adjusted according to the user’s requirements. Also, the secondary handle evenly balances the weight of the Strimmer for easy maneuverability and can also be adjusted to improve user comfort. The Strimmer features an over-molded rubber handle that is textured to provide a firm grip.
Weighing just 2.5kg, the Strimmer is extremely lightweight, making it easy to lift and manoeuvre, as well as being ideal for storage in high or hard-to-reach areas.
The Strimmer also features a single-line automatic feeding system, AFS (Auto Feed Spool). The AFS system automatically feeds line from the spool when needed, unlike traditional “bump feed” string trimmers, which require you to “bump” the string trimmer head on the ground to release more spool. The system ensures that the job can be completed faster, without having to waste time adjusting line.
The Strimmer is also equipped with a wheel edge guide to ensure a precise and straight finish to your lawn.
